This is Tunnel mountain... the conference centre I spent my days at was low on one side and there is a seasonal road running most of the way around it. It was named because CN rail was planning to tunnel through it - but they decided to go around instead.... so no tunnel, but the name stuck. The native people called it the sleeping buffalo... pretty easy to see why (much more appropriate name!)
