These were the Columbia Ice fields (or some of them)... there were bus tours and vehicles driving right up to the bigger one... people could go out and walk on the glaciers - but we were dressed for summer so thought better of it ;) Kept on driving.... that VERY cold run off is the source of the river we stopped to take pictures of earlier....
